Introduction
The Fortescue Inn is situated near the seafront on the high street, in the historic town of Salcombe. Enjoy a relaxing drink, we offer many cask ales from a local brewery, and sample our good quality food in our bar or restaurant where we offer the best of local produce. There is access to the pub up a ramp or over the curb.

The nearest railway station is Totnes, which is 19 miles away (a 40 minute taxi ride). Taxis are available at the station. If you require an accessible taxi this can be booked in advance, see Contact Information below for details.
There is a bus from Totnes to Kingsbridge which takes approximately 40 minutes, Tally Ho! Bus No.164
The nearest bus stop is 0.2 miles from the pub - Shadycombe Road. There is a shelter with seating. All buses can accommodate one Class 1 or 2 wheelchair, Class 3 wheelchair will not fit. The Tally Ho! No. 606 bus runs to Kingsbridge, every hour Monday – Saturday from approximately 8am to 630pm and takes approximately half an hour. There is no bus service on Sundays or bank holidays
The main road outside the pub where the main entrance is situated has a narrow pavement that is uneven in places.
